The Wilds Adult Camps
Youth Workers’ Conference
The Wilds has always been about helping young people. One of the best ways we can do that is by encouraging the caring adults who work with them day in, day out in their local churches. We’ll spend time together around God’s Word, eat lots of good food, and engage with other youth workers who know and understand the unique challenges of youth ministry today.
Be Still: Training Young Hearts to Listen to God
Many of the young people we serve are growing up in a world of constant distraction. Their minds and hearts rarely have space to slow down so they can focus and listen to the voice of God through His Word. We feel deeply the burden these young people carry, longing for them not just to hear Scripture, but truly attend to it, treasure it,
and meditate on it, so that their lives will be changed to the glory of God. Come hear biblical insights and learn practical tools to gently guide youth from elementary age through high school toward greater attentiveness to the Word of God. We’ll encourage and equip you to help students develop lasting habits of focus, stillness, and delight in Scripture.

Registrations (with required $50 fee per registration) are processed in the order they are received. Balance is due upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds of registration fees will only be made if you notify our office at least 30 days before the camp begins.
Arrival & departure
- Check-in: 3:00 – 5:45 p.m. Tuesday
- Program Begins: 6:00 p.m. Tuesday with supper
- Program Ends: 8:00 a.m. Friday after breakfast
Childcare
Children ages 0–24 months may attend this conference with their parents. They must be within this age range at the time of camp. Childcare will be provided during the General Sessions and Workshops only (children may not attend these.) Capacity is very limited.
Reward
For each first-time Youth Workers’ adult or married couple you bring as your guest, you can receive a $60 deduction from your balance due at check-in. Please let us know the name(s) in advance. You can save up to the total cost of your Youth Workers’ Conference price.

What if I arrive late?
If your arrival is delayed, please call the camp office at (828) 884-7811 to hold your reservation. Those who arrive after 8:00 p.m. without previous notice may lose their housing priority and be asked to stay in other facilities. Meals can be held no later than one hour after the scheduled meal time.

What if I have special dietary requirements?
All meals are included in the price of camp. Although we are unable to provide alternative meal options for campers with dietary restrictions, we do have a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and small toaster oven available for campers. Please contact us for more information and to receive a copy of the meals planned for your visit.

What if I leave or lose something at camp?
Contact Lost & Found via the button below and complete the requested information. Although The Wilds is not responsible for lost or stolen items, someone will be happy to attempt to locate your lost item(s). If found, items can either be shipped to you at cost, or they may be picked up from our Administrative Office in Taylors, South Carolina. Lost items must be requested within 30 days of your time at camp.
